Ranking cop killed in Samaraa

SALAH AL-DIN / IraqiNews.com: Unknown gunmen killed the director of a police station northeast of the Samaraa city, said a local police source. “Unknown gunmen raided last night the officer’s house in the al-Chlam area, 10 km northeast of the Samaraa,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency on Wednesday. He explained that the gunmen executed the police officer (major) before his family. “They shot him dead with three bullets in the head and two in the chest,” the source added.
