Army officer, soldier injured in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: An army officer and a soldier were wounded in two separate incidents in Mosul on Monday, an army source said. “An explosive charge exploded on Monday evening (Oct. 4) near an army checkpoint in al-Wehda neighborhood, eastern Mosul, injuring a lieutenant,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “An improvised explosive device went off targeting an army vehicle patrol in al-Zahraa neighborhood, eastern Mosul, injuring a soldier,” the same source said.
