Biggest water project in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: A local company on Wednesday began the implementation of the biggest drinking water project in Basra, a local official said. “A local company started today to implement the al-Khatwa water project, the biggest drinking water project in al-Zubeir district in Basra,” Abbas Rasham, the district’s mayor, told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The project will contribute in solving the scarcity of water in al-Zubeir district by 60-65%,” he added. “The project will be implemented at a cost of 2 billion dinars by the municipalities ministry within 4 months,” he said.
