Talabani wraps up visit to Libya

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi President Jalal Talabani arrived on Monday in Baghdad, wrapping up a visit to Libya , where he took part in the Arab summit, according to a presidential statement. “President Talabani and his accompanying delegation arrived on Monday (Oct. 11) in Baghdad coming from Libya, where he participated in the extraordinary Arab summit and the second Arab-African summit,” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. Talabani took part in the Arab meeting in Sirte to discuss the joint Arab action and suggested forms of cooperation with neighboring countries. The final communiqué of the Arab-African summit urged Iraqi leaders to speed up the formation of the new government.
