Maliki returns to Baghdad from Syria

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki returned to Baghdad coming from Damascus after a short visit to Syria, according to a well-informed source. “Nouri al-Maliki arrived in Baghdad on Wednesday evening (Oct. 13) after a short visit to Syria, where he held talks with senior officials there,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. The premier held meetings with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and Prime Minister Mohammad Naji Otri, on ways of boosting bilateral relations. SH (P) 2
