IED injures 5 civilians in Talafar

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Five civilians were wounded in a bomb blast in western Talafar on Monday, according to an official security source. “An improvised explosive device went off near a police checkpoint on the road to Sinjar district in western Talafar, northwest of Mosul, on Monday evening (Oct. 25), injuring five passing civilians,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The wounded were taken to the Talafar public hospital for treatment,” he added.
