UPDATE / Diala café bombing leaves 15 killed, 35 wounded

DIALA / IraqiNews.com: Fifteen people were killed and 35 others wounded in a suicide bombing attack in southwestern Diala province on Friday, a local security source said. “The initial count of casualties from an earlier suicide bombing attack in a popular café in Dor Mandili area, Baladruz district, (45 km) southwest of Baaquba city, is 15 deaths and 35 others wounded,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The majority of inhabitants in Dor Mandili are Feyli Kurds,” the source added. Earlier, a security source said that a suicide bomber with an explosive belt strapped to his chest blew himself up in a popular café in Diala. Baaquba, the capital city of the troubled province of Diala, lies 57 km northeast of Baghdad. Feyli Kurds are largely a Shiite community living in Baghdad and Iraq around Khanaqin and Mandili. There are an estimated 2-3 million Feylis living in Iraq. AmR (S) 2
