Iraqi, French firms mull boosting cooperation

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi and French companies discussed Wednesday ways of boosting industrial cooperation and in the technological transfer, according to a media source from the industry ministry. “The ministry’s companies discussed with a number of French companies, participating in the Baghdad International Fair, technological transfer and means to start partnership relations,” Hanaa al-Husseini told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The companies held also talks with a number of chemical companies,” she added. “The French firms expressed desire to cooperate in digging oilfields and in laying oil and gas pipelines,” she said.
