Kurdistan’s PM discusses with U.S. diplomat opening consulate in Arbil

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: Prime Minister of Iraq’s Kurdistan region, Barham Saleh, discussed on Wednesday with U.S. Under Secretary of State for Management Patrick Kennedy bilateral ties and opening a consulate in Arbil, according to a statement of the Kurdistan Regional Government’s website. “The meeting tackled also the latest political developments in Iraq and opening a U.S. consulate to organize political relations between the two sides,” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency.
