Explosion near billiard club, sticky bomb defused in Falluja

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: A number of bombs exploded near a billiard club in north of Falluja on Thursday, according to a police source. “An unknown gunmen detonated a number of bombs near a billiard club in al-Sajar region, north of Falluja, damaging the club and nearby stores,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Policemen managed to defuse a bomb, stuck to a vehicle belongs to a Sahwa fighter in al-Sabiehat region, central Karma district, eastern Falluja,” the source added. Falluja, the largest city in the troubled predominantly Sunni province of al-Anbar, lies 45 km west of the Iraqi capital Baghdad. SH (P)/SR 1
