Basra blast kills 5, wounds 35

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Five persons were killed and 35 others were wounded in the car bomb explosion in western Basra, a medical source said. “Basra pubic hospital received on Monday evening (Nov.8) five bodies and 35 wounded men as a result of the car bomb explosion in al-Qebla region, western Basra,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. A security source had said earlier that an unidentified blast occurred in al-Qebla region, wounding six civilians. Basra lies 590 km south of Baghdad. SH (P) 1
