Urgent: Iyad Allawi’s delegation arrive in Arbil to attend Political Blocs Summit

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: The Delegation of al-Iraqiya Bloc, led by former Prime Minister Iyad Allawi, and membership of Deputy President Tareq al-Hashimi and the leader in Al-Ahrar Bloc, Bahaa al-Aaraji and al-Iraqiya leader, Saleh al-Mutlaq, have arrived in Arbil to attend the Summit of the Iraqi Political Blocs, scheduled to convene here today, in response to a call by Kurdistan Region’s President, Massoud Barzani, the Region’s Media Adviser, Faisal al-Dabbagh said. “The meeting is scheduled to start at 12:00 Baghdad time (09:00 GMT), among the leaders of the Iraqi political blocs, with Kurdistan President, Massoud Barzani, that was delayed Kurdistan President, Massoud Bazani, had launched an initiative on 16/9/2010, calling for the formation of an 8-12-member committee, to represent different political blocs, to start talks aimed to settle the current suspended differences, discuss the formation of a national-partnership government, as well as the settling of the issue of the three leading Iraqi State presidencies.
