Army discovers weapons cache in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: An Iraqi Army force has discovered an arms and ammunition cache east of Mosul, the center of north Iraq’s Ninewa Province, according to any Army source on Thursday. “A 7th Brigade force from the 2nd Army Division has discovered a weapons, ammunition and explosives cache in a house at Aden district east of Mosul, according to an intelligence information,” the Army source told IraqiNews.com news agency. He said the cache included mortar-launchers, BKC guns, Kalashnikov guns, a quantity of ammunition and explosive charges, along with other weapons and a car used to carry explosives and weapons, hidden in the dump. Mosul, the center of Ninewa Province, is 405 km to the north of Baghdad. SKH/SR 2
