UAE willing to play role in Iraq reconstruction – minister

DUBAI / IraqiNews.com: Minister of Economy of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sultan al-Mansouri, said on Saturday that his government “is keen to participate in the reconstruction of a new Iraq“. “The UAE and the city of Dubai are keen to participate in the reconstruction of a new Iraq. They will be able to contribute to the process of building a modern Iraq and confront the challenges it is facing away from any political conflicts,” Mansouri told a news conference in the beginning of the Summit on Global Agenda in Dubai, schedule to convene on Sunday. “The Iraqi brethren, including experts and efficient personalities in different industrial, construction, trade and education fields, have successfully shared in the building and construction works of Dubai City over the past 20 years, and we are proud of that,” he said. The said Summit is scheduled to take place from Nov. 28th to Jan. 1st, with the attendance of over 700 personalities, including members of the World Economic Forum, along with international experts from 60 countries.
