KIRKUK / IraqiNews.com: The Director of north Iraq Kirkuk‘s Dibbis township has escaped an assassination attempt, when his motorcade was attacked by an explosive charge blast in northwest Kirkuk, wounding him and damaging his car. “Director of Dibbis Police, Colonel Hussein Ni‘amat Hawas, has escaped an assassination attempt, when his motorcade was attacked by an explosive charge in the Car-Shows area, southwest of Kirkuk, wounding him and causing damage to his car,” a security source told IraqiNews.com news agency on Wednesday.
