Blast targets bus carrying Iranian pilgrims in Baghdad

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A number of Iranian pilgrims were killed or wounded when a car bomb went off near their bus in western Baghdad on Saturday, a security source said. “A car bomb explosion targeted a bus boarding several Iranian pilgrims on al-Sadrain intersection, al-Shoa’la neighborhood, western Baghdad, leaving an unidentified number of people killed or wounded,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Another car bomb went off today (Dec. 4) on al-Moheet street, al-Kadhemiya area, northern Baghdad,” the source said, not giving more information. He also said that a roadside improvised explosive device (IED) went off on the street leading to al-Mahmoudiya area, southern Baghdad, but left no casualties. AmR (P)/SR 18
