Police detain 2 gunmen in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Two gunmen were arrested on Monday by police forces in central Mosul, according to a security source. “Policemen, in cooperation with local residents, arrested two gunmen after wounding them in Al-Nabi Shieth region, central Mosul,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency, noting that the gunmen opened fire on a police checkpoint in al-Shaabiya region. “The forces responded, injuring two of them, before arresting them,” he said.
