Biden, Barzani discuss govt. formation

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden discussed with President of Kurdistan region, Massoud Barzani, late Thursday the formation of the new Iraqi government, according to a statement from the White House. “The two official discussed over the phone the latest developments in the formation of the new Iraqi government,” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “Biden congratulated Barzani on the reelection as a head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP),” it added.
