NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: A leader in the socalled “Islamic State of Iraq,” carrying a Syrian nationality, had been killed in an operation carried by an Iraqi military force, on Wednesday, according to a source in the Iraqi Army’s 2nd Division, based in Ninewa. “A force belonging to the Iraqi Army’s Second Division, based in Ninewa Province, has implemented a military operation in west Mosul‘s Harmat area, killing a leading element in the socalled “Islamic State of Iraq” organization, carrying a Syrian nationality,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency.
