IED defused on Taji road

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The federal police defused an improvised explosive device (IED) that had been emplaced on the road from Baghdad to Salaheddin province on Sunday, a security source said. “The IED was planted near Hour al-Pasha village, on the Taji camp road leading to Salaheddin,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Security forces used a robot to dismantle the charge after sealing off the road on both sides,” he added, not giving further details.
