Eight people killed, 50 wounded, in Ramadi blasts:

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: The final result of the two exlosions that took place in Ramadi city, the center of west Iraq’s Anbar Province, early on Monday, has reached 8 people killed, among them an officer with a colonel rank, and 50 others wounded, according to a medical and a security source. “The final result of the victims of Ramadi explosions has reached 8 people killed, including a Civil Defense Officer with a colonel rank, whilst the number of wounded has reached 50, who were driven to nearby hospitals for treatment,” a medical source in Ramadi’s General Hospital told IraqiNews.com news agency. Meanwhile, a security source told IraqiNews.com that the two explosions had led to the burning of 13 civilian and military vehicles, along with causing severe damage to a number of nearby shops and buildings. Ramadi, the center of west Iraq’s Anbar Province, 110 kms to the west of Baghdad, had witnssed two consecutive explosions early in the day, carried out by two suicide bombers wearing explosive belts, that pinpointed the main entrance of the Government Compound at the center of the city.
