Soldier wounded in Mosul, 3 wanted persons arrested in Huweija

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: One army soldier was wounded on Tuesday in a bomb explosion in western Mosul, while a joint force have arrested three wanted men in al-Huweija in Kirkuk, according to a military source. “One army soldier was wounded in a bomb explosion that targeted an army vehicle patrol in western Mosul,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The soldier was carried to a nearby hospital for treatment,” he added. “A joint force of the National Investigation Police in Baghdad, Kirkuk Districts Police Department and American troops have arrested three wanted men in central al-Huweija district, southwestern Kirkuk,” Brigadier Sarhad Qader told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The detainees suspected of having links to the Islamic State of Iraq armed group.” SH (P)/SR 5
