ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: An Iraqi policeman has been killed and three others injured in an armed attack by unknown gunmen on Sunday on a checkpoint west of Falluja, the larest city of west Iraq’s Anbar Province, an Anbar security source said. “A group of unknown armed men has killed a policeman and wounded three others in an armed light and middle weapons attack on a police checkpoint in al-Falahat area, 12 kms to the west of Falluja,” the security source said, adding that the attack had been the third of its type over the past 36 hours, following two similar attacks on Garma area east of Falluja.” Falluja, 60 kms to the west of Ramadi, the capital of Anbar Province, is 110 kms to the west of Baghdad.
