Basra prisoners escape proves occupation forces’ control on PM’s office, MP says:

BASRA / Aswat Iraq: The legislature from Iraq’s Al-Ahrar (Liberals) Bloc, Uday Awad, has said on Saturday that the escape of 13 prisoners from southern Iraq’s Basra prison, “is an evidence that the Occupation forces are in control of the Prime Minister‘s office and the Iraqi security forces.” “Those terrorist groups are part of the organizations that threaten the lives of Iraqi citizens and their control on the Prime Minister‘s office and forcing their agendas on the Iraqi prisons,” Awad told reporters, adding that “if one investigates their origins, he finds out that they are fed by American and Zionist sources.” “Those escaped prisoners belong to the (socalled) Islamic State of Iraq, who have succeeded to escape from the Iraqi Intelligence, existing in the Presidential Palaces in Basra, after their involvement in terrorist acts,” he said. Noteworthy is that 13 prisoners, belonging to al-Qaeda, had escaped from a prison located in the Presidential Palaces in Basra, despite intensive security measures, according to Legislature, Taleb al-Mansouri, who said that they have managed to escape, despite strict security, calling for the opening of an investigation, due to fact that the incident is related to the Iraqi Council of Ministers.
