Civilian killed, five others injured in attack against Anbar Province’s Governor

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: A civilian has been killed and five others injured in a suicide attack by a booby-trapped car against a motorcade of Anbar Governor, Qassim Mohammed, early on Monday, an Anbar security source said. “A suicide explosion against a motorcade of Anbar Governor, Qassim Mohammed, at the center of Ramadi city, has killed one civilian and injured five others,” the security source added. The motorcade of Anbar Governor, Qassim Mohammed, had been target for a booby-trapped suicide car attack in Ramadi city, the center of Anbar Province, had failed to cause any injuries among the motorcade’s elements. Anbar Governor, Qassim Mohammed, had escaped an assassination attempt at the end of 2009, that amputated one of his hands and the killing of the Province’s Council Member, Saadoun al-Khirbit, along with the wounding of three Council members.
