Iraqi Kurdistan’s Clerics Federation worried about Kurdish students in Egypt:

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: North Iraq Kurdistan’s Clerics Federation on Sunday has expressed anxiety towards the situation of Kurdish students, studying in Egypt, especially those studying in Cairo‘s Azhar Univesity, due to the current circumstances caused by public protests against the Egyptian regime. “A number of Kurdish students, are studying in  Egypt, especially students of Islamic studies and the Kurdistan Clerics Federation’s Chairman Mullah Abdullah Mulla Saeed, has contacted some of them on Saturday night, in order to reassure their safety, expressing readiness to render them any help they demand,” a Federation statement said. The Egyptain authorities had imposed a curfew in Cairo, Alexandria, Suez and other Egyptian cities, along with cutting all means of communication inside Egypt and between Egypt and the outside world, following the huge demonstrations that took place in Egypt, demanding the “departure of President Hosni Mubarak, who ruled the country for about 30 years.
