Victims of Kirkuk’s blasts rise to 6 killed, 75 injured:

Kirkuk / IraqiNews.com: The victims of the three booby-trapped cars blasts that took place in northern Iraq’s oil-rich city of Kirkuk early on Wednesday, have reached 6 killed and 75 wounded, a source in Kirkuk‘s General Hospital said. “Six persons, including two policemen and a child have been killed and 75 others, among them 7 women, were injured in the three explosions that took place in Kirkuk early in the day,” the said source told IraqiNews.com news agency. A Kirkuk security source told IraqiNews.com early on Wednesday that a booby-trapped car blew off at dawn today, close to the headquarters of the Assayish (Security) of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) on the main highway leading to Baghdad, whilst another car blew off close to Aqaba Bin-Nafi’e fillling station and a third went off close to the Disabled Office in western Kirkuk, killing 2 persons and wounding 19 others. Kirkuk, the center of the Province carrying the same name, is 250 kms to the northeastof Baghdad. PT / SKH 979
