Baghdad’s Ghazaliya blast kills civilian, injures 20 others.

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com – The result of an improvised explosive device (IED) blast in northeastern Baghdad ’s Ghazaliya district on Wednesday has reached one civilian killed and 20 others injured,” a security source said.   “The result of the IED blast, that took place in the Exchange Street of northeast Baghdad ’s Ghazaliya district early on Wednesday, has reached one man killed and 20 others injured,” the security source told IraqiNews.com news agency.   He said that the attack was targeted against the Sunni Endowment Diwan (office)’s Planning Director, Ahmed Saadan, who escaped unhurt with a number of his companions.   A Baghdad security source had stated early in the day that three soldiers and three civilians have been injured in an IED blast against an Iraqi Army patrol west of the Iraqi capital.   ST / SKH   667
