GCPI signs contract with Chinese company to establish trade fair in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: The General Company for Ports of Iraq (GCPI) signed on Wednesday a contract with a Chinese company to establish a trade fair in al-Maaqal port, according to the Iraqi ports department’s relations & information chief. “The GCPI signed on Wednesday (March 2) a contract with a Chinese company to set up a trade fair in al-Maaqal port on 24,000 meters in three years at a cost 498.672 million dinars,” Anmar al-Safi told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The Chinese company will establish a modern market and with a developed management,” he added.
