Six persons, including 3 policemen, injured in Mosul attack

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: At least six persons, including 3 policemen, have been injured when an armed man tossed a hand-grenade on a police patrol in central Mosul on Sunday, a security source said.   “Six persons, including 3 policemen, have been injured this afternoon (Sunday), when an armed man threw a hand-grenade on a police patrol in Midan Square in central Mosul,” the security source told IraqiNews.com news agency.   The source did not give further details, but said that the armed man had escaped to an unknown destination.   Mosul, the center of Ninewa Province, is 405 km to the north of Baghdad.   SKH (TP)/SR 704
