Ninewa police free 12 detainees

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Ninewa police released on Wednesday 12 detainees after investigation proved they were not guilty and in response to protesters’ demands, according to a police source. “Ninewa police freed on Wednesday (March 9) from the anti-terror prisons,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “They were freed as they found not guilty of charges pressed against them.” He did not give more details. Mosul, the capital of Ninewa, lies 405 km north of Baghdad.   SH (TP)/SR 647
