Five persons, including 3 cops, wounded in east Baghdad blast

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com – Five persons, including 3 policemen, have been injured in an explosion in east Baghdad early on Monday, a security source said.   “An improvised explosive device (IED) blew up against a police patrol in east Baghdad‘s Canal Street, wounding 3 policemen and 2 civilians, who were driven to hospital for treatment, the security source told IraqiNews.com news agency, giving no further details.   SKH (TP)/SR 621
