New Iraqi ambassador to Amman presents credentials to King Abdullah II

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraq’s new ambassador to Amman, Jawad Hadi Abbas, has presented his credentials to King Abdullah II of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, an Iraqi Foreign Ministry source said on Sunday.   “The presenting of the credentials of the new Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Amman, Jawad Hadi Abbas, to King Abdullah II of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, took place in the prosperous Basman Palace, with the presence of a number of Ambassadors to the Jordanian Royal Palace,” the Ministry’s official position reported on Sunday.   The position said that during the presentation of the credentials, “the Iraqi Ambassador has discussed with King Abdullah II, the bilateral relations and means for their development, as well as possibility for presenting facilities for Iraqis wishing to visit the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.”   SKH (TS)/SR 642
