Man killed by father, brother in dispute over land in Kut

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: A young man was killed by his father and brother in a dispute over a plot of land in eastern al-Kut city on Thursday, a police source in Wassit said. “The incident took place inside their home in al-Karidiya, (10 km) eastern Kut, when a man was shot dead by his father and brother, who later escaped to an unknown place,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Initial investigations showed that the incident took place in a family dispute over a plot of agricultural land,” he added. “The police are now searching for the culprits,” he said.
