Policeman injured in IED blast in Ninewa

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com – A policeman has been injured in an IED (improvised explosive device) blast, targeted against a police patrol close to the Ninewa Province ’s Council building in central Mosul on Sunday, a security source said.   “A policeman was injured on Sunday morning by an IED blast, aimed at a police patrol in central Mosul ’s Bab-Ligish area,” the police source said.   He said the attack was targeted at the police patrol, stationed close to the back wall of Ninewa Provincial Council’s building.   Mosul , the center of Ninewa Province , is 405 kms to the north of Baghdad .   PT / SKH
