About 35 demonstrators injured in Sulaimaniya.

SULAIMANIYA / IraqiNews.com – The total persons injured in clashes between demonstrators and Anti-Mob Forces in northern Iraq ’s Kurdistan city of Sulaimaniya on Friday has reached 35, the city’s Emergency Hospital Director said.   “The result of the clashes between demonstrators and the Anti-Mob Forces has reached 35 wounded persons, most of them policemen, whilst 3 civilians, including a TV reporter, were injured,” Hawar Naqshabandy told IraqiNews.com news agency.   The demonstrations in Sulaimaniya Province began on February 17 th last and covered Sulaimaniya city and Kalar, Halbja, Rania, Koysinjaq and other townships, during which at least 8 persons were killed and more than 100 others injured, according to the Kurdistan Opposition.   Kurdistan Region’s President, Massoud Barzani, Iraqi President, Jalal Talabani and Kurdistan ’s Premier, Barham Saleh, have expressed support for the demands of the demonstrators, promising to take necessary measures to achieve a series of reforms in the Province.   IT / SKH . 419
