Public employee escapes attempt on life in Ninewa

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: General director of the Ninewa nationality department survived on Wednesday an assassination attempt in eastern Mosul, according to a security source. “Brigadier Lu‘ay Younes Safu escaped a life attempt this afternoon when a bomb exploded targeting his car in al-Faisaliya region, eastern Mosul, injuring his driver,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The blast caused material damage to his car,” he added.
