Gunman kills woman north of Kut

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: A young woman was killed by an unknown gunman in front of her house in north of al-Kut city, a police source said on Friday. “An unknown armed man opened his machine-gun fire on a 25-year-old girl in front of her house in al-Sharqiya neighborhood, al-Nuaamaniya district, killing her instantly,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The gunman fled to an unknown place carrying a Kalashnikov assault rifle,” he added.
