Contractor, his 5 abductors, killed north of Tikrit

SALAHADDIN / IraqiNews.com: An abducted contractor and five of his abductors, dressed in military uniform, have been killed in Salahddin’s Beiji township on Friday, in a clash between the abductors and the police, who killed them after they killed the contractor, a Salahaddin Police source said on Saturday.   “In the light of intelligence information, the police forces had managed to define the house, where the abductors were hiding between Salahaddin and Anbar Provinces, and when the place was surrounded by the police, the abductors released the abducted Contractor Yassir al-Fahad, who they shot dead before his arrival to the place where the policemen were,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency.   He said the police returned fire by an attack on the house, killing the five abductors.   Beiji township is 40 km to the north of Tikrit, the center of Salahaddin Province , which is 175 km to the north of Baghdad .   SKH (IT)   870
