Iraqi driver killed, two civilians injured in Baghdad IED blast

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A driver, working in Iraq’s Water Resources Ministry has been killed in an improvised explosive device (IED) explosion, stuck to his car east of Baghdad early on Sunday, a security source said.  “An IED, stuck to a government vehicle, blew up in southern Baghdad’s Zaafaraniya district, killing its driver, an employee of the Water Resources Ministry, early today (Sunday),” the security source said. He said that another IED blew up in southwest Baghdad’s Hay al-Jihad district, on Sunday morning, wounding two civilians, that were driven to a nearby hospital for treatment.   SKH (TP)/SR 665
