Child mistakenly shoots his mother in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: A 6-year-old child has mistakenly shot his mother, using a pistol belonging to his uncle, inside their house in southern Mosul on Monday, a security source said.   “A 6-year-old child shot and wounded his mother, while playing with a pistol that belonged to his uncle, who is a policeman, in their house in al-Yousif village, south of Mosul,” the security source told IraqiNews.com news agency.   The security source gave no further details, but said the injured mother was driven to a hospital for treatment.   Mosul, the center of Ninewa Province, is 405 km to the north of Baghdad.   SKH (TP)/SR 420
