Al-Mutlaq meets UNAMI delegation, 2 ambassadors

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Deputy Prime Minister Saleh al-Mutlaq held on Tuesday three separate meetings with a delegation from UNAMI and with ambassadors of Lebanon and Croatia to Iraq, according to his media office. “Al-Mutlaq stressed during his meeting with a delegation from the UN Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) on the importance of shouldering its responsibility toward the Iraqi people, mainly after the withdrawal of U.S. troops,” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. He discussed during his meeting with Lebanese Ambassador Hazaa Sharief bilateral relations and the ongoing preparations for holding the coming Arab summit in Baghdad.
