Two cops, killed, two others injured in Babel blast

BABEL / IraqiNews.com: Two policemen have been killed and two others were wounded in an explosion targeted against them in western Iraq’s Babel Province on Monday, a Babel security source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “An explosive charge went off against a police patrol in Iskandariya township, 50 km to the north of Hilla, the center of Babel Province on Monday, killing 2 policemen and wounding 2 others,” the source said. He also said that an Iranian visitor was killed and 17 others injured in a road accident in Musayab township, 45 km to to the north of Hilla. “A bus, carrying Iranian visitors, heading for the holy city of Karbala, collided with another bus, causing all the said casualties,” he added.
