Three wanted men arrested, l – -mine – IED discovered in Kirkuk.

KIRKUK / IraqiNews.com: North Iraq’s Kirkuk police has detained three wanted persons, discovered a land-mine and dismantled an improvised explosive device (IED) in different parts of the city, a Kirkuk Joint Coordination Center reported on Wednesday.   “A police patrol in Kara-Hanjir village, near Kirkuk , had discovered a land-mine, close to a restaurant at Jaimen area, 15 km to the north of Kirkuk , whilst an IED was discovered in Kirkuk ’s al-Khadra district and blew it up,” the said source told IraqiNews.com news agency.   “The three wanted men were detained under Article 406 of the Iraqi Law, for having committed murder crimes in Khalu-Baziani village, 25 km to the north of Kirkuk ,” he said.   Kirkuk is 280 km to the northeast of Baghdad .   SKH (ST)   670
