Ninewa Council votes on rejecting extension of U.S. forces presence in Iraq.

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: North Iraq’s Ninewa Province ’s Council has voted on Tuesday on the rejection of extending U.S. troops presence in Iraq , after the end of their presence according to the Security Agreement concluded between Baghdad and Washington .   “Ninewa Province’s Council has voted in its 83 rd session, held in Mosul on Tuesday, to reject the extension of the presence of the U.S. troops in Iraq, according to the Agreement signed between the Iraqi and U.S. governments,” Council Member, Abdul-Rahim al-Shimmary told IraqiNews.com news agency.   Shimmary said that the Ninewa Council’s rejection decision had been raised to the Iraqi Parliament and the central government in Baghdad .   Mosul , the center of Ninewa Province , is 405 km to the north of Baghdad .   SKH (TS) 459
