Kurdish Security Officer killed in Kirkuk
KIRKUK / IraqiNews.com: A Kurdish Security Officer, with a colonel rank has been shot dead by a weapon fixed with silencer, while driving his car south of northern Iraq’s city of Kirkuk on Sunday, a police source said. “A group of gunmen, carrying pistols fixed with silencers, have shot dead an officer with colonel rank in the Special Security Bodies, belonging to the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), while driving his car in Ras-Domez district, south of Kirkuk,” the police source told IraqiNews.com news agency.
