Samarra University corner stone laid

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Minister for Higher Education and Scientific Research Ali Al-Adeeb laid the corner stone of the Samarra’ University in Sala al-Din province, according to Ministry’s statement Tuesday. “The plan is to absorb all environmental and geographical characteristics to exploit them in developing educational spheres within the movement of the society”, Adeeb said in the statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. The Minister confirmed that the university will absorb all high school graduates. “We will provide all possible scientific cadres and financial resources in order to be one of the qualified interventional universities”, he concluded. Samarra town has three colleges, education, antiquities and sciences, which shall be the nucleus for the university.   MR (TP) 487
