Explosive belt discovered?, 5 wanted men arrested in Ninewa

  NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: An explosive belt has been discovered and five wanted men were arrested in two separate Army operations in northern Iraq’s Ninewa Province, an Iraqi Army source said on Saturday. “An Iraqi Army force from the 2nd Army Division in  Mosul has discovered an explosive belt, ready for explosion in the Banks District north of Mosul,” the Army source told IraqiNews.com news agency. He said an intelligence information led the Army forces to the venue of the explosive belt, that was dismantled without causing any losses. “Another 2nd Army Division’s force has detained 5 wanted men in al-Nimroud village, northeast of Mosul, adding that the detainees were wanted according to Article-4 – Terrorism and were under investigation,” he said. Mosul, the center of Ninewa Province, is 405 km to the north of Baghdad.  SKH (ST) 460
