Demonstration in Baghdad against Kuwait

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Hundreds of Iraqis and intellectuals demonstrated today in Tahrir Square, in the center of Baghdad, demanding Kuwaiti authorities to stop violating Iraqi borders and sovereignty, and calling on the Iraqi government to adopt active procedures to stop these actions. The demonstrators also demanded the Iraqi government fulfill their promises of reform, services and combating corruption. An IraqiNews.com correspondent in the square added that the demonstrators called upon Kuwait to “establish brotherly relations, instead of initiating a state of enmity.” RM (TP)/SR   1023
