Sticking IED, planted in Ninewa Criminal Court Chairman’s car, dismantled

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: An improvised explosive charge (IED), planted under the car of the Chairman of Ninewa’s Criminal Court, had been dismantled by a police force inside the court’s garage in central Mosul on Monday, a security source said.   “Ninewa’s Police anti-explosives team had managed to dismantle an IED, planted in the vehicle of Judge Mahdi Saleh, the Chairman of Ninewa’s 1 st Criminal Court inside the court’s building,” the security source told IraqiNews.com news agency.   He said that “the specialized authorities have opened an investigation about the incident, in order to discover the way the IED had passed through the security barriers and radar appliances inside the court’s entrance.”   Mosul , the center of Ninewa Province , is 405 km to the north of Baghdad .   SKH (ST) 397
